Poured into a pint glass.
A: Clear, reddish-amber in color with a small off-white head.
S: Rich hops on the nose, with hints of grapefruit, grass and lemon. Perhaps a wee bit of toasty malt as well.
T: Very nice hop flavors. Loads of citrus, pine and grass, all of which come off soft and well-rounded. A bit of malt sweetness serves to add a little balance.
M: Lighter side of medium-bodied and well-carbonated. Feels smooth and a bit slick, but finishes pretty clean.
D: Quite drinkable. Smooth, never harsh.
I really like this IPA from Two Brothers. Perhaps it's the "wet hops" they use, but the hop character is not quite as piercing as in other IPA's. I personally like this idea. Give it a try.
