I might sound biased, but I'm a fan of 2Bros. They're a fine brewer in Chicago land.
A: Amber/copper color. Darker than the average IPA, IPO. Clear with a little visible carbonation. Medium head, which did not retain for long but left lacing.
S: Nice hop aroma. Mostly pine and citrus. Not incredibly strong compared to some IPA's, definitely less compared to DIPA's.
T: Nice malty flavors with some sweetness. Balanced hop flavors on the finish. Goes down pretty well.
M: Crisp and clean; but not much noticeable carbonation in the mouth.
D: Not overwhelming at all. It's a good session beer. I could have a few of these at once.
Pretty good IPA. I'd might prefer a bit more strength in the smell department. I don't know if "wet" hops are better for bittering or for aromas. Overall a nice balanced IPA . . . from Chicago!!
