Thanks to Exiled for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellow-amber color with an off-white head. The aroma is resiny hops and is pretty straightforward. The flavor is a mix of piney and resiny hops with some orange citrus mixed in as well as a nice caramel malt backbone. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Murky dark orange hue.

White head; Nice lace.

Orange, with a spicy edge on the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Orange flavor with a hint of metal.

Deep but slightly disappointing.

12 oz bottle poured into a snifter.

Clear Orange with a decent egg shell head. Smells of hop oil, slight touch of mint and caramel malts. Classic taste with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty balanced and drinkable for such a high ABV. Not a standout but still rather enjoyable.

What a beautiful looking beer. Deep amber almost red, wonderful lace, a medium lasting finger of off-white foam. Its super nondescript on the nose, smells very very sweet. Despite its hoppyness the taste of the beer is quite sweet as well. Very strong malts in there. Almost as though someone mixed a bunch of hops into a 40 of Olde English 800. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. This beer looks and feels great, but it's just not super strong in flavor. It's bright, clear, and sweet, but the overall maltiness of it renders it a little weak, since while the hops here are delicious, the grains do it no favors.

Has all the look of a great double IPA. It lacks in aromatic hops, more in malt smell, bready and a bit stank. Tastes balanced and not heavy or overly sweet, nice clean hop bitters. Pine resin mostly without a sticky linger. No alcohol burn for the abv level. I miss depth in flavors. Mouth feel is clean and medium carbonation. Overall it's very good but nothing stands out to bring me back to it, the flavor is just not compelling for me.

Clear orange-brown body with fine streams of carbonation, fizzy/fine off-white head and an intricate web of lace. The nose is pure hop essential oil and faint caramelly-malt; bitter orange concentrate, pine oil, and biscuit/bread crust malt. Pure and intense. The taste is orange/grapefruit bitter to the point of being chemically, plus pine resin, a touch of alcohol and spice, and a moderate amount of malty sweetness. The body is full, sticky, moderate carbonation.
Intense and straightforward but balanced focused. Big flavor, varied but withing a tight range, a hint of the strength behind this, and palatable but harsh for the unprepared. I liked it, there was definitely skill behind this guy but I think it still left something in the still.

Pours a clear, dark copper color with a tight, white head that leaves plenty of lacing.

Smells of big pine and citrus hops.

Tastes of the big hops layered over and equally big malt backbone. Hops lead off with notes of pine, grapefruit, and flowers. This gives way to caramel and toffee malt notes. Plenty of sweetness to back up the hops. More hops come towards the end with some herbal and mint notes. Finishes with some lingering hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium-full with a smooth amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a tasty DIPA.

Pours that nice orange hue we all come o expect from a high hopped brew. The ivory laced head lasted just a few but it still looked awesome on top of the orange. The pine tar resin grapefruit tropical banana nose was as present as I was expecting.
The initial taste was big and soft. Not what I was expecting. I was looking for that crisp, dry clean taste. Seems that I might have reached my limits on DIPAs
Hard to believe this one had a 100 IBU rating an 9.9% abv. Neither value came across that hard. Perhaps because this was a big soft beer, 100 IBUs were well contained. If I was to have guessed, around 75-80IBU and a 7%abv.
