The first thing you'll notice about Hop Juice is the ridiculous amount of sediment on the bottom of the bottle; it looks like Two Brothers dropped a pound of minced garlic in there. I find it odd that, given all the yeast, nowhere does the label contain the phrase "bottle-conditioned." Hop Juice smells hoppy, but tastes surprisingly malty. It's a little too sweet up front for me, but finishes with a big, oily mess--I mean that in a good way--of hop flavor that lingers in your mouth for several minutes. "Resiny" is the perfect word to describe this beer. 9.9% ABV is undetectable, and as a result I've given Hop Juice a high drinkability score.
