Poured from 22oz. bomber into 11oz. snifter.
Appearance: Hop Juice has a rich, resonant copper or almost amber color. The beer is fairly clear, with just a faint bit of haze in the body. About a finger's worth of a frothy off-white head sits atop the body after a fairly gentle pour. Lively carbonation runs up the side of the glass. Excellent head retention keeps almost perfectly throughout the whole beer, leaving behind a nice lace on the glass. A very pretty beer! 5/5
Smell: Super hoppy aroma with citrusy grapefruit tones and piney aromas shooting off the beer into my nostrils. Sweet malts attempt to balance the hop attack. The booze of the 9.9% ABV is present but mostly masked by the hops. Lovely. 4.5/5
Taste: Tropical right off the bat. Tons of grapefruit, orange, and other tropical fruits along with some sappy pine flood the taste buds. The bitterness in this beer is strong and delicious. A sweet caramel malt backbone is tucked in to take a bite off the hops attack. Nicely balanced. The bitter aftertaste sneaks up on you a little after the sip. 4.5/5
Mouthfeel: Quite dry, felt instantly upon sipping. Pretty remarkable. Fairly high in carbonation. Medium mouthfeel with a little bit of creamy texture. 5/5
Overall: This is a classic hop monster from Two Brothers. Bitter, citrusy, and dry. I did not have any trouble at all finishing this bomber, though I don't know if I could have too much more after. 4.5/5

The beer comes dark amber.
The aroma has sweet honey, floral, light pine, nectarine.
The aroma has chewy bready malt, pine, grapefruit peel, nectarine, but then it transitions aggressively onto a light and very clean mouthfeel. Then onto a pop of fruity honey sweetness and lots of floral. The mouthfeel on this is really well done. There’s a pop of chewy malt in the front onto a really well done mid and late transition in a really clean and easy drinking hoppy presence.
Relevant to Hopslam, but much better crafted.
