Bottle dated best by 12/29/12 (I think). Poured into tulip glass.
This is an exceptionally pretty beer. Pours a nice, cloudy amber color with an inch of cream colored head. Very nice lacing as well. On the nose, bready malts with a hint of cherries...cherry coffeecake. Down the hatch, more of the same malty/cherry notes. Light sour notes are detected as well. Mouthfeel is nice: balanced, medium.
I've had this plenty of times, and had some left over from a Halloween party. Good change of pace for my tastes.

Arrives a gorgeous copper color, clear as a mountain stream. Decent head retention and really good lacing left behind by the reddish-tan foam as it dissipates to its final state, alight ring.
Smell is weak but malt, wheat/grass and yeast. Balance is very good, though.
Taste is similar with notes of lightly roasted malt, caramel, grass, and yeast. Very well balanced.
Medium body, maybe a touch over, light-medium effervescence. Slight warming after the swallow. Smooth, reasonably clean finish. A nice brew for certain.

Nose: floral with a hint of ethanol. Not a lot of head retention. Taste: crisp, light, and delicious. I was expecting this beer to be a bit sweeter/syrupy judging by the appearance, but I was wrong. This is a fantastic beer. Malty light and full of flavor
