Poured from tap into pint at tap42 in ft Lauderdale. Pours a syrup amber brown with slight head. Smell is malty sweet ....bleh
Taste is exactly the same. Malty bready sweet. Maybe some peppery notes but otherwise very macro trying to hard kind of thing...
Its a bit heavy but the flavor is easy.
Its a step above macro...meh. I will never have again.

A great craft brew. It went very well with the great burger I had at DMK.
Spicy smell and taste. Hints of carmel. Good mouth feel and very easy to drink.
Very good white head. Reddish carmel clear colour. A gentle hop aroma with a decent bitter finish.

My pal, Jeff brought this one back from the Midwest for me. Rock on!
Served in a Delirium Tremens shaped-glass.
A: Two finger, white head on top of a mildly cloudy, gold/red brew. Pretty good so far.
S: Sort of a sandy, brown sugary, hoppy, disposition overall. More sugar than anything.
T: Fairly smooth, a bit sugary (appropriate to style), and kinda bland. However, I guess the style itself is kinda bland. Malt/hop blend was about 50/50.
M: Sugary, but I've experience worse in this realm. Amazingly ridiculous lacing left on the glass.
O: I've had a few in this style in my day, and this is about in the middle.

Bottle dated best by 12/29/12 (I think). Poured into tulip glass.
This is an exceptionally pretty beer. Pours a nice, cloudy amber color with an inch of cream colored head. Very nice lacing as well. On the nose, bready malts with a hint of cherries...cherry coffeecake. Down the hatch, more of the same malty/cherry notes. Light sour notes are detected as well. Mouthfeel is nice: balanced, medium.
I've had this plenty of times, and had some left over from a Halloween party. Good change of pace for my tastes.
