A. Poured into a pint glass and got a half finger of a light head that quickly dissipated. Good lacing. Interesting looking translucent reddish brown colored beer.
S. I get a sugary malt smell up front, punctuated with a strong floral and citrus hop aroma. Also smell a bit of caramel throughout the nose.
T. Very mellow, this is a sweet malt into hop flavor that flows very well. The malt has a slightly toasted caramel tone that naturally passes into a floral hoppy bitterness. Ends hoppy and bitter with a hint of rye.
M. Mellow. Medium bodied with a slight dryness that accompanies the transition into the hop flavor. The carbonation does not make a big deal of itself.
O. An interesting and enjoyable find, glad the beer guy at my local store suggested it. The flavors do not overwhelm, they are just an enjoyable show that this beer puts on for your tongue.
