This beer has been in the fridge too long, so hop aroma and flavor are likely depleted.
Pours a nice amber color, clear, with solid 2 finger light beige head that leaves slight lacing.
Aroma is cola sweetness, caramel malt, bready, with a hint of rye and citrus hop.
Flavor retained more hop character. Lemon and grapefruit sourness dominate, supported by a bready caramel malt character, leading to a somewhat bitter rye finish. The sweetness of the malt accentuates the rye as it warms.
Body is moderate, with fairly high carbonation.
Overall, a very citrus forward beer, with enough rye to reign in the flavor and keep the profile in check.
