Served on-tap at Dirty Franks in Columbus in a pint glass.
A: Dark mahogany with a thin white lace and film, which leaves rings on the glass.
S: Very earthy, with honey, blackberry, and mild citrus fruit, along with creamy malts and a subtle rye undertone. The alcohol is reminiscent of brandy and the overall experience is definitely Belgian.
T: The earthy, rustic notes are in front, which is immediately followed by the bitter hops and rye, which come off with pine and fruit notes (that I can't exactly pinpoint). The alcohol taste is close to gin, which lingers quite some time.
M: Creamy and frothy with a sharp dry-mouth experience at the finish.
D: I've had this on tap a few times before, but I can't think of a single time I've had two pints in a row.

L - creamy ivory head tops a reddish-brown ale
S - different aroma: sweet, brown sugar, citrus, earthy spicy rye
T - spicy rye, brown sugar, earth, grapefruity citrus, toasted grain, sweet with moderate bitterness
F - creamy and very dry accentuating the bitter finish
O - still my favorite Two Brothers beer. I always love coming back to this one.
