This beer pours a medium bodied tarnished, dark copper in color with a very soapy two finger, off white head. The nose is light and right in the middle of balanced between hops and malt. It's citrusy but not in a fresh, citrusy hop character kind of way. The flavors echo that sentiment. The flavors are malty with slight hoppiness, yet very citrusy. It drinks more like a citrusy pale than an IPA. It's decent, but not on par for the style. It drinks light and smooth, certainly built for a can. If you needed a beer for the pool, a concert, etc. this wouldn't be a bad option assuming you don't expect a hoppy or dry IPA.
