Thanks, mjohnson17!

A very balanced IPA. A bit too much malt character for my personal tastes, but this is certainly a well constructed and very drinkable IPA. The hop flavors are mild citrus with some definite pine character. Caramel and pale malts combine well.

12oz. can poured into a Ayinger pint glass.

Appearance: Golden orange with a nice 1" head recedes to a cap but leaves nice lacing.

Smell: Fruity hops with a bit of pine.

Taste: A nicely constructed IPA, fruit flavors and pine work well and are balanced against a nice base of malt.

Mouthfeel: Very clean on the palate.

Overall: Very sessionable and tasty IPA.

I am not sure I've had any other Two Brothers in a can. In general it is nice to see lots of brewers getting some of their product into cans. It especially seems to help styles like this stay fresh.

This almost is a good quality brew through and through. It is consistent and well balanced. The appearance is a pretty color and completely translucent with moderate lacing, appropriate for the style. The aroma is good and strong, correct for the style. The taste is boldly hoppy but not too bitter. Just barely this side of an American style, which is supposed to be over the top.

The aftertaste is mild - easy drinking. You could more easily suck down too many of these (and get wasted) that you could with many IPAs. It doesn't feel big or heavy.

There is nothing bad I can say about this other than that it is not exceptional, but it is very drinkable.

Revision - I had another can of this and it had a skunky, off taste, so I revised most of this down. I had to guzzle to beer - it was not to be enjoyed.
