Light amber in color with a fine misty of off-white head that leads to some beautiful lace.

Some fruity esters in the nose to go along with pine and a clementine citrusy note.

It's safe to say that my mouth is watering. Medium bodied and the taste doesn't disappoint. Plenty of carbonation with a hoppy spice. Some peppery notes and a hefty background bitterness. Caramel characters soothe the tongue with a slight residual sweetness. There is a good grain bill that adds to the depth of this American IPA.

Really nice complexity to this beer. Each sip brings a new sense of vanilla, apple and pear esters to go with just a great dose of hops. Lingering pine bites the tongue and coats the throat. Quite good and something to keep in mind when cans are a necessity.

Poured a rich, slightly cloudy amber body with a thin cap of head. It looks very much like most other IPAs, pleasing but not amazing. Scents of orange flesh, sweet malt, very light levels of pine resin and hints of tropical fruit. Overall impression of aroma is of a very light and sweet aroma for an IPA. Not unpleasant, but lacking a full aroma profile that is key to the style. Flavor begins lightly bitter with notes of orange zest and a pleasantly sweet malt backbone and a light level of pine resin. This moves into a medium bitter middle with pine resin, orange zest and some spicy hop flavors with a lot caramel malt backbone. Finish is medium bitter with notes of pine resin, orange zest, light orange flesh and a caramel malt backbone. Aftertaste is medium bitter with notes of pine resin, caramel, and light indeterminate citrus peel. Overall impression of flavor is of a decent IPA flavor profile that is pleasant, but lacks the complexity of some other examples. It is simple and nice, but a bit standard. Mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with light carbonation and a smooth, slick, slightly resinous feel. Overall impression of mouthfeel is very nice. A true to form IPA. Overall this is a fairly standard IPA. It doesn't do much to stand out in any way, but it is pleasant and rather well executed, if a bit simple. Good overall, but in a crowded IPA market it does little to stand out.

12 ounce poured into pint glass.

A: white frothy head, retention is decent fading to a thin white film. Amber with a very subtle touch of red.

S: Citrus pumpkin carmel strange but not bad

T: Hop forward with a mellow hop finish. Not very dynamic when cold. I let the second half warm a little and some spices and malt came out finishing with a pleasant lasting pine hop finish

M: typical for an ipa but I didn't get to enjoy the full flavor until it was nearly flat.

O: glad I let it warm decent ipa par for the course

Beer served from can into a Nonic shaped pint glass

A - Beer pours with nice pumpkin orange colored body; bit hazy and not very bubbly; frothy creme colored head forms at the top, holds well, and is about one finger thick; lacing is very good

S - Moderately roasted malt; deep sweet caramel smell; touch of acidic fruit; slightly floral, rose; bread; maple syrup

T - Sweet malt taste; pine and mild flavors of citrus comes up well after every gulp; caramel; touch of scotch; bitter hops; maple syrup

M - Bitter aftertaste; creamy consistency holds throughout the entire drink; mildly carbonated

D - Very easy to drink; definitely a try for any American IPA fan; good blend of malt of hop flavors
