A - Dark copper with a nice fluffy white head and nice lace. Slightly hazy.
S - Floral hops, tangerine and orange juice.
T - Slightly sweet at first, moving towards citrus on the back end. Nice malt support for the tangy hops.
M - Medium bodied, solid on the tongue. Finishes a little to bitter .... almost acrid.
This is a really nice IPA, I like the canned package. Easier to recycle and pack into and out of a campsite.

A: Clear amber color and a light coating of white froth.
S: Fruity orange and guava aroma with juicy grapefruit and light honey malt.
T: Not as juicy as the nose. More of the pine and resiny bitterness. Some sour grapefruit and light orange. Some warming alcohol which is unusual for the ABV listed. Finishes with lingering bitterness.
M: Mouthfeel is medium carbonation with some alcohol bite which is not well hidden.
O: I recall this as being much better the first few times I tried it. Didn't get to check the freshness date before my wife took the can out to recycle. Maybe a bit dated sample. I will re-review this again.

Son of a bitch! I didn't even get it open it and I find a "best by October 9,2012" on the bottom! Means its at least a couple months old...
A - Pours a hazy amber brown (unfiltered like) with a 1/4 inch of opaque colored head. Seems to have some decent lacing.
S - Smell is fair enough with a dose of subdued pine and citrus hops. At this point it smells more malt forward.
T - I get some bittering pine and a touch of metal at the finish. The flavors are mostly sweet malt pity since this beer had promise.
M - Light to medium easy to finish despite age.
Overall I am kind of pissed at Vintage Estate (Ohio) for keeping this beer over a month beyond it's best buy date. It's sometimes good since I got a 2010 Arcadia Barley wine and Imperial Stout. Might try this again fresh and see if it changed my opinion.

A thanks to the incredible woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a rich caramel color with a 1 inch head. Smell is hoppy, citrus. Taste is hops, pine, a good bit of malts, well balanced, a touch of citrus. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an easy drinking and pretty good beer.

Outlaw India Pale Ale has a thick, soapy, off-white head and a clear, orange-gold appearance with some splotchy lacing left around the glass. The aroma is citrus, pine resin, malt, and sugar. The flavor is of hops up front, with bitterness and pine. There is a malt backbone to it and also some sweetness. Mouthfeel is rather light, but it has some ale softness. Outlaw IPA finishes mostly dry and easily drinkable. Overall, this is an excellent beer, and I hope you’re able to sample it.
