A - Hazy orange copper colored with an average lasting whitish head. No lacing.
S - Big sweet bready malts, and a touch of caramel. Light alcohol and a moderately noticeable hoppiness, piney and a touch of citrus.
F/M - Mostly malt-forward, big caramelly malts, bready and a little sweet. Light oaky flavors. Moderately firm bitterness. Moderate citrusy/resinous hop flavors take a back seat to the malts. Dry finish, moderate carbonation and medium bodied.
O - Ok, but a little out of balance for an IPA. The wood aging is noticeable, but detracts from the hoppy notes.
