The most refreshing ale I have tried this spring: clear and bright golden hue with a quickly receding, foamy white head. The bottom the can has a "swirl by" date stamped. The can states this is an extra pale ale and that is quite true; the ale has yellow highlights similar to a lager.
The aroma, however, will disabuse one of thinking this is a lager. Strong, bittersweet tropical fruit explodes from the can. A slight resinous flavor wafts from the glass after the pour.
The flavor is quite living with a solid citrusy flavor that lingers on the palate. There is also a soft, malty sweetness that tempers the bitterness. While not hugely complex, this ale is extremely quaffable and thirst quenching.
The only criticism I have is the mouth feel. While the ale has a very light body that is appropriate for the style, it is also a little too watery and thin. The other fine qualities of this ale more than makeup for this flaw.
This is an ideal, flavorful ale to keep on hand for the summer. I am very pleased that Two Brothers is available in southern Indiana.

This is a very enjoyable beer. Not outstanding, but easy to drink and very refreshing.
Appearance: 1" white, foamy head. Beautiful, clear golden yellow.
Smell: Limes, somewhat like the first smell of a Corona after adding the lime. There is a bready aroma that also comes through
Taste: Again, the Lemon/Lime taste comes through, making this a very refreshing brew
Mouthfeel: The right amount of carbonation, and very smooth over the tongue
Overall: Very enjoyable. I can drink a few of these. One of those beers that the sum of the parts is greater than any of the individual components
