look: 4 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.5

APPEARANCE: Pale in color, but a little hazy. A nice, white head foams up to about a full finger and remains in place for a couple minutes then eventually settles into a thick, quarter-inch cap. Lacing is solid.

SMELL: Really, really impressive on the nose. The citrus is big with grapefruit, lemon and even a touch of lime. Some light tropical fruits play in the background and a bit of bread works its way in.

TASTE: The flavor follows the aroma here and again, is very impressive. Passion fruit is more pronounced than it was in the nose, as is the grapefruit. The lemon and lime take a back seat, but don't disappear.

MOUTHFEEL: A medium carbonation and sparkle matches quite nicely with a medium bodied beer. The balance here is perfect; not sweet, but not dry.

OVERALL: I'm very surprised to see that this beer is not rated higher than it is. I couldn't ask for much more from a sessionable Pale.
