A new offering from Blackstone. Poured from 12 oz. bottle into a tulip glass.

Light orange and amber in color; clear with a thin head. No lacing, head recedes quickly. Mild scents of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, various spices. Good flavor, a nice mix of pumpkin and spice with neither particularly overbearing. Slightly sour with mild hop bitterness. Light and thin, medium carbonation, very drinkable. Overall another nice beer from Blackstone. Everyone is doing pumpkin ales now so there are alot of bad examples of the style out there; this isn't one. (550 characters)

The Orange and brown pumpkin colors really shine through as this Crystal clear ale is topped with a light layer of tightly knit foam.

The aromas are heavy on the cinnamon, with a light pumpkin spice and nutmeg.

The flavor is more to the pumpkin spice, lightly topped with cinnamon and nutmeg. There's very little malt or pumpkin flavor but it's spicy enough that it's good.

The feel is so light and almost lacking in carbonation, that it feels like water. Light on the tongue and slips down the palate with utter ease. (521 characters)

A: Pours a slightly hazy orange with a finger of cream-colored head that fades into a frothy ring with a little lacing.

S: Pumpkin spices with a bit of squashy pumpkin underneath along with light aromas of caramel and vanilla.

T: Pumpkin spices here as well but with a nice undercurrent of actual pumpkin along with vanilla and caramel malts.

M: Medium body and carbonation, this pumpkin ale just avoids being watery.

O: An enjoyable pumpkin ale, overall. It could use a bit more pumpkin and vanilla presence along with a creamier body, but is still quite nice. (571 characters)
