I'm having one of these at John Harvard's at Holiday Valley and its a great day for a great day for a real great stout. The brew is black and creamy. The aims is just slightly fruity. The taste is similarly well balanced.
there is an amazing after taste of cherries. Everything is well balanced. It stinks very nicely and it would be easy to do a couple. Highly recommended.

The beer pours black with a loose halo of tan head. The nose presents a slightly metallic cherry and milk chocolate. The taste brings on a milk stout lactose sweetness followed by distinct cherries that linger. The mouthfeel is a bit sweet, velvety smooth on nitro, and the core flavors are present and pungent. This is a pretty decent stout that lives up to its name as being a chocolate cherry stout.

On nitro-tap in Ellicottville. Stopped in from a long day of skiing and decided to get something to warm me up.
A: Very dark with a tan nitro head. Awesome lacing.
S: The smell reminded me of a chocolate milkshake with some cherries mixed in.
T: Although the smell seemed like chocolate syrup, the taste was more of a milk chocolate flavor. There was a good balance of cherry and malt flavors too.
M: Medium bodied, creamy nitro feel
Unbelievably drinkable. The flavors seemed to be a bit mild for an imperial stout, but I am not at all disappointed with how this beer turned out. It went down almost too easily and was great for the cold winter day.
