The ultimate beer lover’s warm-weather quencher. Crisp, bright, and ultra pale that’s mildly hopped and lightly floral. Definitely a crowd-pleaser as an all-day summer brew.

New! Mow Master’s 2020 recipe is fresher than ever, featuring a Citra Hop flavor profile.

Clear golden orange appearance with moist foamy white head with good retention and lacing. Bitter, floral, fruity notes. Clean mouthfeel, medium body.

I wonder if they put ipa on the label nowadays to try to boost sales or if they actually tweaked the recipe enough. Anyways not bad but really glad I didn't get a sixer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Nearly clear light golden pour with 2 fingers of fluffy white head. Solid lacing.

S: Light citrus and grains

T/F: Follows the nose... a bit sweet up front with toasted malts. Light citrusy hop profile... not overly complicated. A little floral/herbal. Modest bitterness. Light bodied and easy drinking.

O: Like the name says... a lawnmower light IPA. Not bad... certainly nothing special. Not one I'd seek out.

Bottle dated 3-21-17. Ouch. Nonic pint.

A: pours a hazed yellow-gold with two and a half fingers of fluffy bright white head. Lots of small particulate matter suspended in the beer with a few streams of carbonation flowing up. Pretty decent lacing.

S: very modern hoppy: citrusy, tropical, sweet, tart. Some malt presence lurking behind there. A very tangy citrus - candy like.

T: drier arrival than the nose would suggest, modestly hoppy, some of that tangy hoppiness, then it transitions to a light and satisfying malt, some herbaceous, stemmy, green and floral hops, before ending on a way less bitter finish than the nose portends.

M: solidly midweight with moderate to low carbonation. What bubbles there are feel large on the tongue. Somewhat slick.

O: this is not as light or as crisp as I would like for a true lawnmower beer. But it is a pretty balanced new age American pale ale. Or perhaps golden ale. I'll say it's held up remarkably well for six months old; I can only imagine what that tropical citrus was like new.

I bought this to enjoy after mowing the lawn, and it proved to be light and easy drinking for the occasion. My notes are limited, but it pours an ugly yellow, with limited hops aroma and flavor. Too thin for most occasions, good hops taste, earthy, just could use a higher gravity and an ounce or two more hops.

Bottle from Wegmans. I like this. A tasty ale without the hop bitterness of an IPA. Just enough hoppiness to enjoy and refresh. Nice grassy aroma...me likey!
