Being new to MA, Kappy's was a great place for me to find a wide selection of craft beer. I was pretty stunned to find out that some of the companies, whom beer I enjoy, also make spirits. The gentlemen working at this location were friendly and fairly knowledgeable on the products. I have had to ask on occasion for opinion/help in making an appropriate choice for my consumption and the employees were more than happy to help.

A-The atmosphere in this Kappy's is similar to the one in Peabody. Easy to navigate and easy to find what you are looking for.
Q-The quality of product is good. I sometimes feel like this location has a better selection than the "bigger" one in Peabody.
S-The people in this location seem to be pretty knowledgeable about beer and what is coming out next and where to find it.
S-I am very pleased with the selection at this location. They have a good variety of micros in the warm rack at the left hand side of the store and in the freezer in the very back of the store.
V-The value is the same as Peabody. 6-10 dollars for a six pack and 12-16 for a 12 pack.

Not a bad shop, craft brew section is pretty decent, some good selection there, recently I got a bottle of Saison DuPont for $7.50 which I though was pretty good. They have all the standards and then some, not as big of a selection as some of the other Kappys I've been to though, but for a smaller one pretty good.
Once one of the workers was talking extensively about craft beer, but other than that the other workers don't seem to take much notice, which is ok by me.
Never had quality issues. Pretty good, stop by if you are in the area.

Kappy's is one of my go-to places whenever I am on a beer run and don't have the time to drive to Julio's. The last trip I made, I walked out of the store with a 750 mL bottles of Cantillon Vigneronne for $9.49 (I paid $10 for a single glass of it at Ebenezer's) and Ommegang Ommegeddon for $10.99. I also bought a bomber of Southern Tier Gemini for $8.99. The warm beer selection is on the lefthand wall and the cold beers are in the cooler section against the back wall. They have a bunch of local breweries, Stone, Victory, Lagunitas, North Coast, Cantillon, Ommegang, Southern Tier, Flying Dog, DFH, Lindemans, etc.

an emergency stop while traveling to Gloucester, and not a bad one. after a horrible trip, cancelled B&B reservations, got a Motel 6, Dominoes Pizza, and hti this liquor store. got a bottle of liquor and some beer from their pretty decent beer selection. They have the full lineup of local stuff, like Gritty's and Cape Ann, as well as some others who dont distribute to Ct., i.e. i picked up a 4pack of Atwater Voodoovator. pretty much a large liquor store with a above average beer selection. its no Table & Vine, or Yankee, but its pretty darn good.

The 'smaller' Kappy's on route 114 Eastbound. The cold beer section is located at the back wall at the mid-point of the store with about two to three cooler doors holding six and twelve/packs, with one cooler door holding a diluted, mixed array of singles. To the left-most section of the store is a large area of six and warm twelve packs including regional, national, and imported brews. Located along the farthermost wall to the left is the store's warm, single selection. Offerings include Belgians such as: Chimay, Cantillon (3 offerings), Troubadour, etc. The domestic micro selection is pretty impressive including: a handful of Stone (including Old Guardian, Double Bastard), near-full line of Berkshire bombers, handful of DFH (including Festina Peche, Black and Blue, Red and White), Rapscallion, Boulder Beer Co., etc. Although, the selection could be expanded, I was pleasantly surprised during my visit. The Kappy's located in Peabody has much more offerings to choose from in general and with their Belgian offerings, but I'd have to give the nod to the Danvers location for single, micro bombers.

Stopped in here while wasting time before a function down the street at Jimmy's Allenhurst.
Had a good cross-section of beers, both imports and domestic micros. Pretty small beer section in the store, but then again, it's not a huge store to begin with. I'd say maybe half their beer was in coolers, which is nice. No singles, or at least they weren't apparent if they were allowed.
They were doing tastings of wine at the front door, and Sherwood Forest was doing an Archer's Ale can tasting in the back near the coolers. Not sure if they do this sort of thing every Friday afternoon, or if it was just a coincidence, but that was kind of cool.
Certainly not a bad store, but there are better selections around.

Most of the Kappy's I've been to have a good selection and descent prices. This Kappy's still has nice prices, but the beer selection is small. Still, you can find some quality beers such as Arrogant Bastard, Bear Republic and Sierra Nevada.
What keeps me coming back to this store as opposed to the Kappy's in Peabody across from the mall is that they carry a few brands the other store does not have. If you stop by don't forget to check out the cooler in the back. I've found a few brews there that were not out on the shelves.

This is the smaller Kappy's on Route 114, closer to I-95/Route 1 than to Rt.128.
A small but OK selection of beers. A lot of the more common beers are available in stacked up cases. I have heard their selection might have improved recently.
Worth a stop if you are in the area, but not really as a destination, except as a double bill with its larger cousin down the road. Sometimes this smaller store will have certain beers that the other will not.
Stopped in to pick up some bombers of Bear Republic. The beer selection, though still small, has improved at this store. Definitely worth a stop when visiting the larger Kappy's down the road.

Uncle Jimbo and I have taken to calling this "The Small Kappy's."
It's one of two Kappy's on Route 114 in the Danvers/Peabody area and is about a minute off I-95 and Route 1.
It is, indeed, smaller than the one in Peabody, just up Route 114, across from the North Shore Mall.
Anyway, it's an above-average beer store. The selection of cold bombers ranges from Arrogant Bastard to some very strong Europeans, and they have a good selection of micros -- including locals -- on ice.
The warm beer goes even farther. Right now it includes five Bear Republics, four or five varieties of Dogfish, the requisite victories and a couple of Alaskan brews.
Not quite the selection up the street, but a good place to stop.
