This is my local store and I'm very happy with it. The guy who chooses the beer, Larry is very well informed and does a great job stocking the shelves with a good variety of craft beers. There's always Sculpin, Maine BC, Bear Republic, several Lagunitas, Six Point, Founders, Ale Smith, Stone, and a lot of lesser knowns. I'm never disappointed with the selection, especially considering the size of the store. If you're in Manchester, there is no selection that even comes close. You may pay a few $ more, but the quality and selection are worth it. This is an excellent store with enough quality brews that you will not be disappointed.

Harrigan's is a very nice small-town store that, IMHO, caters to the rich. A decent selection of American brews, but not many of the favorites from BA.

Prices are outrageous. Liquor prices are even worse than beer. I know most folks reading this are interested in the beer, but I must give the example that a bottle of single malt scotch is literally $20.00 more here than in Kappys. 6 Packs of beer are generally $2 or $3 more than average places. He carries no Belgian beers although I've asked them repeatedly for stock them. They did bring in a few 750 ml bottles of Duvel once from his other store (Hamilton?), and they were selling for $9.99.

They carry some German beers, some Uk & Ireland like Samuel Smith, Murphy's and Guiness, some Mexican, and some good Massachusetts labels including Ipswich Growlers. I only go here in an emergency.

Lower prices, a better variety of beer, and catering to customer demands would help a lot.
