A - Pours hazy amber yellow with a nice one finger tall white head, quickly dissipating down to a light film, leaving small trails of lace down the sides of the glass.
S - Smells of pungent simcoe hops, pine resin, dash of fruit zest, fresh cut grass, some sugary sweetness and a bit of toasty breadiness from the malts. Nose is probably the best part of this beer.
T - Starts off with some nice simcoe hop bitterness quickly being joined by the fresh grass, pine resin, fruit zest and lightly toasted breadiness. Finish is pretty bitter, lingering long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet, bitter feel from start to finish. Still pretty drinkable all things considered.
O - A really nice IPA. Plenty of simcoe hops as intended and the other flavors help round it out really well while still being drinkable. Glad I could try it after missing out on it.

Had this on tap at the Troeg's Brewery in Hershey a day after the release! You never know what you're going to get with the scratch beers but this one did not disappoint! The color was a rich golden honey color. Citrus, pine & hops are explosive on the bouquet. The Simcoe hops are introduced from the very first sip with citrus and malt lingering long on the finish. Neither too hoppy or malty. Excellent mouthful of balanced flavors. I would love to see this beer in the Troeg's production line. This is a high quality IPA right up there with Pliny the Elder, Knee Deep Brewing Work for Hops or MO from Maine Beer Company! Totally different from Nugget Nectar or Perpetual! Great beer!

I had this on tap at the tasting room, served chilled in a tulip.
The color is rosy shade of amber with good clarity an light off white head with fine bead. The smell is very pungent with american hop aroma and has that signature simcoe smell. The feel is very good with mostly dry body yet very resinous with moderate carbonation and semi-full body with mild alcohol presence.
The taste is very good, not catty, yet moderately high in bitterness with a light spice and pine mix and perhaps some grapefruit accents with mostly dry malt flavor and subtle alcohol in the finish. This reminds me of Nugget Nectar based on hop flavor but lacks the body it is a more dry version if you are going to compare the two.
