A: Dark brown almost black in color with about 1/2 finger of head that disappeared fairly quickly. Nice lacing though.
S: Initially some slight hints of chocolate, but mostly the roasted malts and strong hoppy overtones.
T: The hops are the most noticable part of this beer. Slightly bitter with a citric undertone. The malts are almost unnoticeable.
M: Light and crisp. good carbonation. Not as full as I was hoping, but still not too bad.
D: An interesting take on the porter. Aggressive on the hops, but with a clean crisp bitterness that could use a touch more malt flavor to make it well rounded. I like it, but probably won't be buying a case.
