Poured from the bottle into a Pilsner glass.
A - partly cloudy golden yellow with a two-finger fluffy white head. Not much lacing left on the glass, though my dishwasher hasn't been working too great lately so that might be the culprit. Bubbles rise from the bottom like champagne.
S - fruity esters, banana, citrus, orange. Nothing to write home about.
T - Strong banana and clove flavors from the yeast's effects up front. Spicy notes from the hops are present, with a nice, dry, tangy finish. Hints of golden raisins and herbs are present as well. Tastes better than it smells. This is one of the most boldly flavored American wheat beers I've had, which is great! Often they leave me wanting more ester and hop flavor.
M - great carbonation, better body than the vast majority in its style, and a slightly slick mouthfeel.
D - highly drinkable. Drink one, and you'll want more!

Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass.
Light orange, to dark lemon yellow body, slightly lighter and brighter towards the bottom of the glass. Head makes about three fleeting fingers of soapy white head to fall and quickly disappear into a good thick collar, but thin puck.
Standard hefe nose on the bouquet, but hints with much more strange peanut butter like yeast esters. Faint clove, little malt wheat chewy character, and no sense of sweetness. THere is a thick sweet peanut quality coming off this however, and a strange out there hint of nut and dry quality on the nose.
Palate hints toward hefe quality, but with spicier notes, and subdued classic hefe quality. Wet bodied with a lighter feel, and not sense of malt chewy character and depth. Almost peppery, near hot finish on the clove like ester front. Density really missing, and the bubblegum sweetness and where is the lemon.
It's an interesting take on the style, and comes off a bit strangely amped, but still a bit lifeless unfortunately. No regrets trying it though, and no harm either.
