A very enjoyable American Wheat more on the Hefe side of the spectrum than the Oberon side. Pours a perpetually hazed golden straw into an 8 oz mug, the only glass wear at my house that isnt packed up for moving. Nice white head, superb retention. Aroma is more complex than just bananas and wheat, although both are present. Dried apricot, bread dough, tremendous spicing including, oddly enough, salt peter???, and some esters. Tastes like a wheat cereal with coriander, pepper, clove, and dried bananas mixed in. Very spicy. Nice carbonation. I really enjoy it. Nearly full body. Nice carbonation. A winner.

Hazy cloudy pale. Classic hefeweizen scent, with noticeable citrue. Wow, this is a really tasty wheat beer. Definitely better than Sierra Nevada's, which is the last wheat beer I can remember drinking. The citrus tones are nicely balanced with the malt, making it feel rather hearty, especially for what is usually considered a light(er) beer. Tasty indeed. Too bad this only comes 3-to-a-12-pack. Absolutely worthy of its own six-pack.

Thankyou Drafting Room for brinking this very yummy Troegs tap offering! It poured out a creamy looking peachy apricot color that there was no way to see through at all, this almost looked frozen. Nice creamy, milkshakey, egg-white head that reduced down to a nice covering. Carbination is not noticable. Scents of banana, fresh grash, gingerale, white grapes.
Incredibly smooth, almost thick, but yet soooo drinkable. Tastes of bananas, very light white wine spritzer, and slight citrus. Very clean and fresh! After the lemon is added- which I looove in my wheats, the flavors become a bit crisper. Sooo very nice! Once again, kudos to the Troegner brothers!

12oz brown bottle with a freshness date.
Yeast was swirled in, cloudy brew now and the lacing is pretty epic. Banana bread ... no, taffy with some breadiness with dusty clove and nutty yeast in the nose. Very very smooth with a crisp refreshing bite, malty with a mellow breadiness. Herbal phenols push against the ripe fruit, clove tries to push the yeast out of the way. Flavors may run up against each other but nothing clashes. The phenols and a mild tartness do pull this beer away from the extreme drinkability this style can garner. Semi-dry finish.
Still able it quaff it back though the amount is hindered for me somewhat.

12 oz bottle pours a hazy, pale yellow, body topped by a small white head. Poor retention and only some sporadic patch lacing.
Very aromatic and complex to the nose. Lots of citrus, with lemon zest, orange peel, and some banana esters. Coriander and a hint of clove and pepper add to the olfactory delight. Wheat cracker and yeast notes are also present.
Light bodied in the mouth with an appropriately zesty carbonation.
Coriander and orangepeel lead the taste, mixing with a toasty and grainy wheat character. Hints of earthy yeast, clove, and green banana get tossed about by the playful carbonation. Finishes clean and zesty.
A stellar example of a usually bland style. Nothing drab about this one! Many thanks to mntlover for renewing my acquaintance with one of my favorite breweries.

Growler pour from DeCicio's in Ardsley, NY. Hazed/cloudy, dull medium apricot. The head is off white, medium retention, leaves a bunch of sheeting and later fine ringlets of lace. Wheat field nose, with flourishes of bananas and sweet sugary fruits. Easy drinking wheat. More fruit notes, toasty, yeasty and quite enjoyable. Highly sessionable, pleasant summary brew. Went well with some thai shrimp and would make a nice companion to a host of salads, seafood and lighter food choices.

Thanks to Jason for sneaking this into Mass.
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a perfect pint glass.
Cloudy yellow haze. Looks like an UFW should I guess. Thin white head.
I know it cam from Pennsylvania, but it smells like a German hefe. Strong scents of banana and spices. Maybe cinnamon. Something I can't put my finger on is very nice about the aroma.
The taste does not disappoint. The bananas are there, along with cloves and some spice notes that compliment the fruit flavor quite nicely. Yeasty with a slight sour bite to it. Very impressive.
Feels full and thick, which I never really expect from a light colored brew, but is always quite welcome. Seemed to show carbonation throughout, but tasted very smooth and not too bubbly.
Finish is nice and balanced. Very drinkable. I wish I had more than one of these. A very impressive brew.

Appearance: orange yellow, cloudy, medium head, medium carbonation
Smell: wheat, banana, and vanilla
Taste: This one follows the smell wheat, banana, and vanilla
Mouthfeel: smooth, with a tart middle, and sweet finish--medium bodied
Drinkability: I would have this again...This is a decent wheat, similar to some German wheat beers I have had

Bottle courtesy of hopdog. Cloudy yellow color with a soft white head with very good lacing and retention. I get lemon and clove in the nose as well as a little bit of a spice I can't put my finger on. Taste is full of yeast and bread; a little bit of clove. Higher than medium carbonation and medium bodied. Good drinkable beer. I'd drink this again.

Thanks to hudsonphotog for sharing this bottle.
Pours a cloudy straw color with a small white head. The aroma is orange, banana and clove. Kind of strange to get all of those flavors in one wheat beer, but it is very inviting. The flavor is more of the same with coriander being the most dominant but the other flavors showing up as well. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation. A odd-ball combination wheat beer with the best aspects of witbiers and hefeweizens. Definitely recommended.

A: Pours an opaque yellow with a cloudy haze. Little white head that was gone within seconds.
S: best part of the beer. Smells very fruity, notes. of citrus such as orange and lemon zest. subtle wheat smell
T: overpowering fruity esters. orange and lemon really take over the pallet, very subtle wheat and it ends with a lingering grassy note. It not very complex and really not impressive at all
M: Very thin, slick feel. again, not impressed
D: To me this beer really missed. The water-thin mouthfeel combined with overpowering fruit and grass left me rather unimpressed. I probably won't be reaching for another any time soon.
