Pours a great look for a pale ale. The brew has a nice dark golden color. There is a good amount of carbonation that creates a fluffy white head that has ridiculous retention.
Smell is very nice for a pale ale. The cascade hops are stronger than I am used to in a pale ale, which sounds great to me. There is a bit of sweet malt smell too, but the citrus smell of the hops dominates.
Taste is nice, but not what I expected from the smell. The taste is a lot more subdued than the smell, with the malts coming in stronger. At first the hops bite the tongue quickly with a nice shot, but the smooth malts calm down the palate and really balance out this beer.
Mouthfeel has a nice smoothness and thickness to it for a pale ale. It has a refreshing crispness in the beginning, but it smooths out.
Drinkability is very good for a pale ale with a lot of taste. Because this beer is so well balanced, I could drink a good amount of these. However, the beer still provides plenty of taste to keep you wanting to drink more.

Golden amber color with a thin thick head with low retention but leaving lots of laces.
Aroma of bread malt with light notes of herbal hops and papaya.
Flavor is more intense, notes of sweet pale malt, herbal hops with some lemon and grapefruit citrus, a hint of spices and resin finishing. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light body with low carbonation.
Pleasant beer that grows over time. Balanced and refreshing APA on the average lower side of intensity. Great fit for a session beer.
