Poured from the 12oz. bottle into a Allagash flute glass.
The color is completely clear yellowish gold with a finger and a half of foamy white with some nice thick lacing left on the glass.
The smell has some slight citrus aroma with a touch a malt smell as well. Some dough aroma makes me think of bread that has not risen yet.
The taste is crisp with a hop flavor but not a heavy bitterness as this beer has a good water flavor that washes off the tongue and keeps anything from staying in your palate for too long.
The feel of this beer is light but has a good feel like it might be bigger then you think but drinks like a lawn mower beer. Something you would have during the summer. It goes down easy and is really drinkable.

On 2014-04-07, I did a side-by-side with Troegs Sunshine Pils, Pilsner-Urquell and Firestone Walker's Pivo Pils.
The Sunshine Pils has a more robust bread flavor than the Pivo Pils, which is dryer, a bit herbal and equally bitter. The Pilsner-Urquell is more like the Sunshine Pils but with even more of a bready taste, a bit less bitterness than the other two, and more of that famous mineral/sulfur presence. The Pivo Pils is the most refined but I miss the more forward bread flavor of the other two. For today's tasting, I'll put Sunshine Pils first, Pilsner Urquell second and Pivo Pils third but this is really just splitting hairs. They're all really good and suit me well.
Tasting notes (and corresponding ratings) from 2013-05-26 are as follows:
A - Clear yellow with a 1.5 finger very white head and decent lacing.
S - Light malt, lemon, flowery hops. Inviting.
T - Much like the smell. Bready malt up front then the citrus, light herbal and white pepper, followed by a surprisingly big hop presence with good bitterness (much like Victory's Prima Pils).
M - Light-medium body and medium+ carbonation. Soft at first then crisply refreshing as it dries.
O - I've had this in year's past but I must say, this is the best it has ever tasted. I think they upped the hop/bitterness level a bit. At 4.5% with a flavor I really enjoy; this will be a summer staple. Well done.
