Poured into a large pilsner glass (the type that looks kind of like a wheat glass). Almost clear yellow color (slightly golden-orange when held up to light). The fluffy white head and sticky lace was just about the only thing it had going for appearance.
The aroma wasn't all that impressive. Kind of skunky. I was starting to wonder if I'd like it...
...Well, turns out I did like it. The flavor was light and crisp, but with a definite herbal hop character in the background. There was some slight skunkiness in the flavor, but not too much... I always wonder about how long my beer was sitting on the shelf at the liquor store before I purchase it (and how much light it's been exposed to), so I don't necessarily blame skunkiness on the brewer.
The mouthfeel was near perfect, except for a VERY slight drying (less than most beers, really). It's sessionable as a mofo - almost goes down too well. I might deem this the most refreshing pilsner I've ever had.

Bottled awhile ago, 4/16. Poured 7/31.
Appearance: Pours a very pale yellow color, true to the style. Soapy white head floats on top with a good amount of lacing, and tons of carbonation streaming up from my laser etched glass.
Smell: Still smells fresh. Hay, wheat-like aroma, pale malts, and a slight hoppy note as well. Like many in the style, simple, light, but pleasant.
Taste/feel: Talk about a refreshing beer. Light on flavor, maybe even so for the style, but what's there is super tasty. No corny sort of flavor that sometimes comes through for me in the style, just crisp as hell.... and I hate the word "crisp." Light biscuit malt character with hay and a liiiittle bit of hops. Mmm, a fantastic summer beer. The feel is also awesome.. Super drinkable with what initially seemed like a thin body, but it's not quite watery. Solid carbonation, on-point for the style.
I've been drinking loads of crap like Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, Labatt Blue, and even -- gulp -- Bud Light recently, so this hit the proverbial spot, and I'm probably overrating this a bit because of that fact.
