poured from a bottle to my troegs pint glass: a one finger head rises to the top, and it quickly reduces to a thin layer of soapy bubbles. the body is a nice straw yellow, but slightly opague. lacing sticks down the sides of the glass.
a nice pilsener malt smell with some noble hops, but more towards the malt for certain. easy on the nose.
a nice crisp and well balanced flavor. while the nose leads you to believe it's all malts, the flavor has plenty of noble hops in it. the malts come first, but not sweet at all. followed by hop flavor and assertive bitterness.
prickling carbonation dominates the beer. it adds to the zestiness of the beer, and makes it feel quite nice for a rather light bodied beer.
this is a great beer for summer. easy to drink, and i've had plenty of it before. maybe it's time to look for a sixel of this guy...
