A: Pours a dark mahogany that can barely be seen through when held up to the light. About a finger of off-white head forms, which quickly recedes and leaves little lacing.
S: Some roasted malt in there, but lots of dark fruit. Raisins and dates mostly with some molasses and brown sugar as well.
T: Similar to the aroma, there's a blast of dark fruit at first followed by brown sugar and molasses. The roasted malts can peak up during the aftertaste with some dark chocolate/coffee flavors.
M: Light-medium body with a good amount of carbonation that works well with the dark fruit and roasted flavors.
D: Dark, yet light body with lots of flavor make this beer pretty drinkable.
