Cask @ Thai 9 for Dayton Beer Week.
Pours to a murky brown with a short lived tan head. Nose is a fine blend of roast and pine. Flavor follows the nose's lead, with more hop presence than you'd expect in a porter - delicious! I'm glad I got to try this, and hope to enjoy it again!

Pours with a single finger of head, but it lasts a decent amount of time and leaves ample ring lace. Dark brown color, but some light does shine through. It appears to be clear.
Smells more like a darker IPA due to the large amount of hop presence. Good sweet chocolate aromas. A little bit of chalkiness.
Complex flavor profile; starts with a dry cocoa flavor (very little sweetness). There's ample bitterness, which starts to show in the swallow and comes out strongly in the aftertaste. This is a thin beer, particularly for the style. Lots of carbonation. Well-balanced and easy to drink.

Poured from cask at Churchkey.
Pours a deep, dark brown with surprisingly little head or lacing given the serving type and the amount of dry hops that must be in this. Nose brings forward a great, dominating nose full of Chinook hops, leaving very little roast or anything else behind. Taste doesn't bring the hops forward much at all, and what is left is just a bit of dry, roasted malt with hints of chocolate and coffee. Feel was quite light and overly roasted. Drinkability was okay, but the highlight of the beer was the nose, which was quite nice.
