Served cold from a bottle to a pint glass.
Appearance: Nice reddish gold/amber (duh) color, good retention of bone colored head. Clean and clear looking, looks real nice.
Smell: Fresh crisp hops, some malt, very tasty smell. Smells like a nice hoppy amber.
Taste: More hops than a typical amber, but this is great! Citrusy and strong hops dominate, but without totally overwhelming the malt. Quite good.
Mouthfeel: A little more astringent and oily than I want in an amber, but it does have a really nice level of carbonation, and a great crisp clean feeling. I like it.
Drinkablility: The same qualities that lowered the mouthfeel score raise it for drinkability. Dry astringent beer makes you drink more. Always have this on hand.
