From a growler into a tulip glass, it pours a golden straw color with a slight amber tint. Nice 2 fingers of head form on top, creamy tan color and slowly leaves a sticky lacing on the glass.
Nice robust aroma of cascade hops bringing in the pine and floral tones, and also a bit of grapefruit or lemonpeel also come out on the nose. Biscuits also...wow, quite complex.
First sipping I get the flavor of some pepper on the tip of my tongue followed by a lot of floral flavors, a bit of pine, and followed by lemonpeel. It's also a bit hot and slighly drying on the finish. Not as "oily" and heavy as Hopback.
Excellent feel. It's not as sticky and thick as their Amber (Hopback) offering, has a slight bit more alcohol and is slightly hot on the sip. Fantastically balanced.
Overall, i think this is going to become a flagship-type beer for Troegs, as if they need another. This is just excellently done! Wow!!!

Had on draft at Vin 909
A-Pours a golden yellow-orange with medium small white head. Nice spotty lacing.
S-Aroma grassy and citrus hops and a bit of malt.
T-Flavor herbal and piney hops, moderately bitter, bit of malt sweetness.
M-Mouthfeel is well balanced and carbonated.
O-Overall a very decent IPA goes down well.
