Live review. Bottled on date was smeared a bit, but looked to be 08/11/11.
Poured from a 22 oz bomber into a Duvel tulip.
A: Pours a deep goldenish orange, leaves a 2 finger eggshell colored head that takes forever to settle into a 1/2" cap and leaves lacing everywhere. It refuses to let go of the sides of my glass. One of the absolute best IPA's I've seen. Flawless.
S: Wow, very nice. Orange, tangerine, pine, cracker, caramel, and slight grapefruit and floral notes. Wave upon wave upon wave. I have smelled better, but not many are better.
T: Very similar to the aroma. Orange, tangerine, pine. Bitter. Malt only provides some sweetness in this one, caramel and slightly honey like. Otherwise, hops are king. It is an IPA, after all. Finishes dry and decently bitter.
M: Oily, decent body. Carbonation is slightly prickly, but not overly so. Alcohol is well hidden.
O: A damn fine IPA. Hops are well done, body and malt are enough to keep it from being overwhelming. This one is a winner. Not my favorite IPA, but one I would drink anytime it was put in front of me. Recommended.

Had on draft at Vin 909
A-Pours a golden yellow-orange with medium small white head. Nice spotty lacing.
S-Aroma grassy and citrus hops and a bit of malt.
T-Flavor herbal and piney hops, moderately bitter, bit of malt sweetness.
M-Mouthfeel is well balanced and carbonated.
O-Overall a very decent IPA goes down well.
