A: It pours golden yellow with a nice creamy light head. Lacing and head retention is very nice on this beer.
S: Warm white pine and slight cedar fused with some citrus notes. It has a very nice aroma, but it's not as floral or pungent as other "IPA's" that I've had.
T: The malt and hop profiles work very well together. There's the distinct hop identity of a borderline American IPA and the thoughtful malt profile of a hearty Pale Ale. The pine and citrus bitterness and the caramel and pale malts compliment each other nicely.
M: This beer is not to heavy at all. It's rather refreshing for an IPA. It's doesn't leave a waited down, tacky or astringent hop oil after taste in my mouth.
D: I would definitely drink this beer quite often, if it was available. It's cross between the Pale Ale and the Hopback Amber. The Troegner's did a good job on this one. As usual.

Pours crystal clear and very pale gold with medium to small head. Nice lacing. Smell is big lemon and grapefruit citrus hops. Taste is much the same as the smell up front and through the finish. Very rarely have I had a beer so consistent from the smell through the finish. And in this case it's consistently citrus hops. Actually though it ends up being a bit one-note, even if that note is good. Full bodied. Fairly drinkable and a really solid IPA throughout.
