22oz brown glass pry top bottle at The Drafting Room, PA. Bottled 081111, 10:16, batch 110712.
Pours a medium amber gold with thick bright white head that leaves tons of lacing and spotting. Nose is a little muted, and herbal and grainy. Palate is wide and slick with residual sugar, angularly bitter. Caramel and pale malt trump any citrus character. Hops are more about bitterness and herbal qualities.
Notes: It's so so. I'd definitely drink this under the "it's local" category but don't need to seek it out again.
