A: Gold and orange in color. Filtered and clear with good level of carbonation to create a medium white head. The head sticks to the glass throughout the session to create a nice lacing effect.
S: Fresh hop smell with grapefruit and pine aromas coming through. Hop smell is pretty good for stronger pale ale.
T: Bitter hops, sweet malts, followed by the citrus flavors of the grapefruit. Very balanced, smooth, and easy to drink.
M: Medium bodied, bitter, and dry.
O: An excellent beer from Troegs that I hope is going to be more than just a seasonal. This beer is very drinkable and has great hop aromas, especially for a non-IPA. I'm planning to find more of this, while it is still somewhat fresh.
