Appearance has 1 or 2 fingers of whit e head sitting on a semi-clear orange/yellow beer. Head retention is fair with an attractive lacing.
Aromas are mainly of citrus hops and tropical fruits, with some caramel and bready malts included in a lesser degree.
The first taste brings a heavy hop bitterness to the table. Flavors are mainly hop resins and other spices. A bit of fruity sweetness is on the back end.
Thick bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. The finish is dry and hoppy.
Overall a really nice IPA here -- I like the naming on the label that this is an Imperial Pale Ale -- seems like a better name these days than an India Pale Ale. I would have liked a little more balance from the malts, but I can't complain.
Thanks to baybum for the try!

S-Aroma grassy and citrus hops and a bit of malt.
T-Flavor herbal and piney hops, moderately bitter, bit of malt sweetness.
M-Mouthfeel is well balanced and carbonated.
O-Overall a very decent IPA goes down well.
