Pours a dark red/copper with a small off white head that didn't stay for long. The smell is sweet and yeasty with cherry and malt. The taste is very sweet, the yeast and fruit are very pronounced, but just a sweet beer overall. The high ABV is noticeable while sipping, but doesn't detract from the beer or mouthfeel. A medium body, good carbonation, and decent flavor balance. If the sweetness was taken down a bit this could be a top notch beer, but overall enjoyable.

A- Pours a ruby-red color with a thin layer of an off-white head.

S- Spicy Belgian yeast mixed with sweet cherry, and maybe a bit of dark fruits.

T- Follows the nose with spicy yeast and cherry. Sweetness that finishes with warmth from the alcohol.

M- Medium-light bodied with average carbonation.

D- A pleasant variation on a winter warmer. The spicy yeast and the cherries are something that I look forward to each Winter.

Enjoyed in a pint glass.
A: pours a copperish red color with a Tan head. Can see carbonation clearly. Leaves

S: cherries and slight hops, nice mallty aroma as well.

T: wow, smooth sweet cherry flavor all the way through, nice malty flavor as well.

M: carbonation is great, looks heavy but is not. Great body.
Overall, great beer

Appearance - Copper body with faint tan head

smell - Cherries, yeast, malts, honey

taste - cherries, raisins, honey, malts

mouthfeel - sweet upfront, ample carbonation, medium bodied, tart finish on this, finish seems out of balance to me even though there is no booziness present

overall - decent offering from Troegs, I was impressed overall with their attempt at a Belgian style ale

Price Point - single 12oz for $3.99
