12oz bottle, presumably the 2013 bottling. Included as an extra by Gunch43. Thanks John. Poured into an unlabeled snifter today, 10/13/2013.
Pours a hazy dark orange colour, with a little bit of sediment. Had to do the shoulder pour to keep most of it in the bottle. Comes with a nice half centimeter white head, receding over time into a thin collar. The beer itself, looking from atop, looks like I have a jar of peach preserves or something in front of me. Looks great.
Smell is mostly mango, with a good bit of maltiness. I don't get too much hoppiness here nor do I suspect that there is going to be much here. Anyway its mostly mango, a little bit of sweet syrup or toffee. Not too complicated.
Drinking this is a bit of a chore. I can taste the booze immediately. Not much mango, a good bit of bready maltiness. Really no hops to be found here, except just alcohol heat.
At least this is a somewhat fuller bodied IPA. Smooth, creamy and resinous. Good carbonation. But really, the alcohol burn on the backend and going down is just too overwhelming. I am not enjoying this one very much right now.
Now that I checked the beer up on BA, it looks old. Added 6/21/2013. I don't know the bottling, but that makes it almost 4 months old. I'm not surprised that I don't get much in way of flavours- just a bunch of maltiness and booze. Oh well, it is what it is. If you still have the bottles from this one now, you might as well get rid of it.

12oz bottle poured into SN hop glass. Thanks to StormKing47.
A: The first half of the bottle poured rather clear, but then suddenly mid-stream this beer turned into a thick, opaque, pumpkin orange. This looks like thick mango juice in a glass. Minimal off-white head to fuzzy collar.
S: Definitely boozy. Booze actually dominates. Malty backbone is right there next to sweet tropical fruit hops. Did I mention this beer is boozy?
T: The flavors are a hot mess of a concoction. Hops are powerful but all over the place. If you told me this was supposed to taste like mangos, I’d probably tell you it tasted like mint, herbal, cat piss, tangerine, and bitter piney hop resin, caramel and tons of booze, but not mangos. The finish is bitter and unpolished.
M: Extremely viscous and thick for a dipa, redeemingly smooth low carbonation, and a hot boozy mouthfeel.
O: Disappointingly messing and boozy. Perhaps if I was drinking this beer the week it was made it would be a bit better, but there’s just too much going on and way too much alcohol for this to be enjoyable.
