a: Clear copper color, served with a thin fizzy head.
s: lemon with a little pine plus muted bready malt and caramel.
t: Hoppier in the nose than on the tongue. Lightly sweet caramel with some leafy lemon bitterness at the end.
m: Light body with crisp carbonation.
o: Nice but I expected something hoppier based on their description.

On-tap 7/20/13 at the Troegs Brewery Tasting Room in Hershey, PA, served in a curved pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a very thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, grassy hops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and some caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering hops presence comes in. The malt character is light for the style but brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry but slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, this is a good sessionable IPA worth drinking for a long time.

Served on-tap at the brewery.
A - Pours slightly hazy amber orange with a nice one finger tall white head leaving spotty trails of lace down parts of the glass.
S - Smells of muted citric fruit, grassy hops, pale bready malt and some mild caramel sweetness. Nothing over the top or very exciting here.
T - Starts off with a mix of muted citric fruit and some grassy hop bitterness quickly giving way to the doughy caramel malt core. I would prefer a bit more bitterness to this one, it goes a little too malty as it warms up. Finish is a mix of chewy malt and light hop bitterness, lingering on the palate long after the finish.
M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, slightly doughy feel with some hop bitterness creeping in at the end of each sip.
O - A nice enough session IPA. The flavors are all there but the hops never really assert themselves like I would have liked. Not a bad beer by any means, just a nice easy drinking IPA. Worth a shot if you get the chance.

Draft offering at Troegs. The brew shows polished clarity, orange in color with a white finger of head. A patchy wall of lace sticks to the glass from the cap that fades relatively fast.
The aroma is a little muted but fruity and citrus hops emerge with a mild floral tone. Some faint grainy to biscuit backing is present helping provide a nice rounded nose.
The taste is mildly bitter with a rindy sort of orange zest bitterness. A mild grassy inclusion is also present with a faint grain backing like biscuits just like the aroma hinted towards.
This is a light bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. It is very easy drinking but maybe too watered down and lacking in hops for even the sessionable tag. It is still worth trying and easy drinking but for this ever increasingly popular hybrid style there are better ones out there.

I had this on tap at the brewery tasting room served in a pint glass. review from notes.
The color is deep golden with good clarity and very thick cream with average sized bead and visible carbonation with moderate lace. The smell is very fresh and fragrant with some citrus zest from the hops and mild lemon with some mild malt esters. The feel is great with bitterness restrained and malt toastiness with moderately bitter as it finishes with mild sweetness.
This IPA tastes gently hopped with more citrus than pine with a good deal of hop flavor for the size of the brew with light caramel malt flavor and nice dry yet smooth hoppy finish. Overall I was very pleased to be able to try this - a nicely hopped and session worthy IPA, I would drink multiples if I could.

Enjoyed at the dive bar.
A - Poured into a standard pint glass a crystal clear light gold hue with s thin one finger head that leaves light lacing. Pretty good, but typical.
S - Aromas of citrus, orange, rind, light tropical notes, wet hops, very faint sweet malts. Not too shabby.
T - Taste is nice and sessionable, very light pine, tropical notes, faint orange peel, light tropical notes. Super sessionable, as it should be. Very quafable, nice citrus, nice mango, solid flavours again.
M - Mouthfeel is solid for the style, definitely sessionable.
O - Not a bad sessionable ipa, I can appreciate what they were going for here. I dig it. Tasty.
