12 oz poured into pint glass
A- Pale gold in color with a creamy, bone white dense head. Looks like a continental lager.
S- Fruity and floral, very restrained.
T- Fairly well balanced between the malt and hops, sweet honey finish.
M- Decent carbonation, light bodied brew.
D- Not bad, though I guess I don't get the differences between a cream ale and a blonde ale, though I do not detect any hops in the finish, so perhaps that's why this is a cream ale? A very approachable beer, best served cold on a hot day.

Pours pale clear yellow with a huge white head that does not last. Lots of lacing and a single ring as you drink down the glass. I literally popped the cap of an undisturbed bottle and walked away, only to find a cone of foam had risen out of the neck of the bottle.
Grassy hop notes and light malt in the nose, with some woody vanilla in the background. I dig it.
Mild mild mild beer. Initial sip is light bready malt. Some grassy bitterness follows and intensifies, and essentially washes out the malt. Malt flavor is weak, and has a very very slight tart twang. Bitter is superior flavor, and that is subdued.
Lighter bodied, feels a little watery.
Overall, this is hot weather bear and lawnmower beer. It has just enough tiny peaks of distinctive flavor where you are ok with it as you go thru the pint. Terrific structure, but I don't buy beer to just look at it. Had half the pint alone, then had the rest with a simple grilled burger, which completely dominated the beer to the point where I could have been drinking water. Lacks the richness of a true cream ale and intensity of flavor, but nothing you will hate either. Accept it if offered one, but don't seek this out.
