A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation along with some fine particulates floating in suspension. It poured with a finger and a half high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose along with notes of citrus.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of citrusy and floral hops, which contribute a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and can be considered sessionable. The abundance of floral hops makes this somewhat unique compared to many other session IPAs.

Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a slight golden yellow color with a thin layer of white foamy head softly dissolving. Slight lace ran with the sips.
The aroma had some citrusy to lemon-like juicy bitterness. Soft semi-sweet wheat.
The flavor was bittersweet citrusy hop qualities with a little hop oily punch to it. Slight aftertaste of lemon, wheat and hop oils.
The mouthfeel was light bodied and fully sessionable. Carbonation felt fine with a nice ABV. Nice citrusy finish.
Overall, session IPA, yup I can see that. Nice Summer slammer!

Pours a golden yellow with good amounts of bubbles. The beer leaves almost no lacing in the glass. The smell actually has some strong wheat hints to go with the citrus and small hop undertones. Pretty much a typical session IPA, overall.

On tap at the brewery.
Pale gold that rings. 3.75
Tangerine and flowers. 3.75
Honey on white toast, hit of DMS, lemondrop and papaya with some scratchy IBUs. 3.75
Round, almost medium, slight oil. 4

Definitely a golden ale underneath - sweet and full. Proper C-hop does, though. A bit flawed, and not an ISA as labelled, but curious now about Keegan’s non-core. 4

Nice, but neither here nor there. Basic session IPA.

A: Poured from the can into a wineglass. Body is hazy yellow with a 1 finger white head, which settles to a collar of lace. Lots of suspended particles.

S: One of the best noses for a Session IPA. Floral, bright, clean, spicy, citrusy hops.

T: Expected balance between citrusy hops and a light, sweetened malt. Finishes with lemony bitterness

M: Light in weight. Carbonation modest.

Went to brew pub last week , good time. I had a few brews and Bine Climber was one of them . I am not a big fan of keegans in general but it was an ok session ipa. Served in a mason jar 3/4s full ?? But still a good time.

I think that I picked this up during one of my many forays up to New England. I have a number of friends up there & it usually does not take much to get me to come up, especially for a weekend.

From the CAN: "Grain: 2Row, Pilsner, Munich, Wheat[;] SRM 3.9[;] Hops: Columbus, Cascade, Citra, Falconer's Flight[;] IBU: 44"; "3.02 x 10(-3) BBLs 12 Fl. Oz"; "Ready to step up to any occasion, we first brewed this session-able India Pale Ale to enjoy ourselves after a hard day's work. We hope that after your hard day of work (or play) you'll find Bine Climber as rewarding as we do. This crisp, refreshing brew is packed with loads of citrus and floral hop aromas, making Bine Climber the perfect brew for today, tomorrow, or the longest day of your week."

Time for a Crack! I initially got some foaming through the vent & when it settled enough to peer in, I could see that it was brimful. My Glug was gentle in deference to its fullness, but a swirl in the glass raised a finger of foamy, bone-white head with good retention. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) (see above) with NE-quality clarity. Nose had a lemon biscotti-like smell with an underlying mild cattiness. Mmmm. Hops. & malt. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste here had a pronounced cattiness, but at least I could taste something. So many of these session AIPAs leave me feeling unfulfilled thanks to their preponderance of aroma hops, but lack of bittering hops. Here, we had some of both in amounts that could be noted, even quantified. Finish was dry, but not biting or gasping. It was a pleasant example of what I want in this sub-style. I would put this in my summertime cooler over a whole lot of other "session IPAs", you betcha!
