Clear amber body will small head. Smell of hops and citrus. Taste is strong hop bitterness that fades in an instant but makes you want to take another sip. Feel is sweet and fruity in the palate. A good supermarket IPA.

Cask: Poured a blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light bitter hops notes with some dry leafy hops is nice. Taste is also a mix of dry bitter hops with some nice dry leafy hops notes. Body is about average for style w with good carbonation. Enjoyable English IPA.

A straw coloured ale with a pronounced citrus taste which gives it a crisp finish but overrides any smoothness.

Poured from a 500ml bottle .
Pours a clear light amber , lightly carbonated with a domed white head that holds its own before forming a ring . Medium lacing. The smell is mild and of hops, soft fruit and floral notes and the the taste follows up on the hop and floral aspects. The hops add a pleasing bitterness throughout and the whole thing is tied together with a biscuity malt . The mouthfeel is spot on , no complaints.
Overall a very good ale , pleasantly bitter , slightly creamy and full of flavour .

500ml bottle at an Irish pub in Germany:..go figure. This is super hoppy likely bc I haven’t had a properly hopped beer in about two months. I’m inclined to say this is hoppier than the average English IPA but again, it’s been a while. Regardless, this is a tasty and well done beer!

Had this beer in cask-conditioned form at The Buckingham Arms pub in Westminster, very close to Buckingham Palace. I was with friends and did not have time to take notes, but did record these scores. It was a solid, traditional English ale and was very enjoyable on cask.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Also available in Norway at Vinmonopolet. Bottle conditioned, ABV is 5.5%. Clear golden colour, big white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity American hops, notes of pineapple and other tropical fruits, also some citrus. The flavour has a substantial sweetness, malty and sugary notes, partly balanced by a noticeable hoppy bitterness, which becomes piney and resinous in the finish, slightly metallic in the aftertaste.

Light gold coloured beer from a can. The head quickly dissipates. Beer smells of citrus (somewhere between orange and lemon) and sherbet. Well carbonated with little pin prick bubbles on the tongue. Astringent start, then a hint of dried fruit before sweet lemon sherbet which gradually becomes more bitter.

Pours a pale yellow in color with a finger of frothy white head that left some lacing on the glass and a collar around the edge.
The aroma is floral and fruity/citrusy.
The taste is malty and piney. The hops come through but no bitterness. Strong carbonation with a dry finish.
A nice IPA that is not overly hoppy or bitter.
