Upper eastside area, close to "hospital row" decent spot for a pint or two, 24 taps of mostly larger micros, Sierra, Anchor, Magic hat, Bklyn, Goose island, SHPTN, a selection from Sixpoint, as well as the usual large "decent " beer producers, Guiness, Stella, etc.no obvious tap wasting macros. Some worthy bottles. Dont expect anything amazing, but do expect some worthy choices. Pleasant enough place, cozy and comfortable, low pressure, many large TVs with sports on, menu filled with the typical burgers, sandwedges etc. In an area w/o too many BA type spots, this place aint bad.

This place has an average selection and you are likely to find 2-3 beers that you wouldn't mind having (though nothing you're extremely excited about). I had 2 Hennepins. The best thing is everything is served in 20 oz. imperial pint glasses. The worst thing is they advertise them being "chilled," as if it is a positive thing. I have two additional complaints about the place.
1. The bartender had not a clue what any of the beer was, therefore my selections of beer were based on trying to decipher the tap handles. They may have had something great on tap, but if I didn't know what the tap handle looked like I was out of luck.
2. Happy hour ran until 7:00 but when I ordered a beer at 6:54 (according to my cell phone) they informed me that it was already 7:00 and happy hour was over. I realize clocks are different but 6 minutes different is ridiculous. They however blamed the problem on the "owner" and acted as if there was nothing they could do about it. It was fine with me as it just caused me to leave no tip for the second beer. If they want the tip they ought to get the "owner" to fix the clock and not try to rip people off.

Beckys opened up when i was living on 1st ave so i was practically there to cut the ribbon. Not a bad neighborhood pub, a decent selection of taps, 20 id say, but a few too many macros. Decent bar food, and a couple of larger screens to watch all the sports action make this a convienient spot if you live in the area, but not a place that id go out of my way for. I havent been back to Beckys since i moved out of the area, but if im on first ave in the sixties i will be sure to stop in for a pint or two.
