look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: 1 inch head, gold in color, clear, high carbonation

Smell: honey and grass

Taste: sweet grass, honey, sugar, and hops at the end

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and carbonation, very sweet witha bit of a bitter aftertaste.

Overall: Another good lawnmower beer. Kinda what a Bud should be. I could have several on a hot day. Very good for a style I do not typically love. Take off about .5 in each if I was not trying to grade this to style.

Reviewed from notes.

A. Light pale yellow with a vanishing foam collar for a head. No real retention time or lacing left behind.

S. Vague buttered corn and minimal pale malt.

T. Cooked vegetable medley and mild sweetness. Yuck.

M. Watery and thin, undercarbonated.

I'm not seeking this one out ever again.

Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #57 (October 2011):

Not half bad, but softer citric hops never really seem to win us over when in a lager. Somewhat drinkable and balanced, but lacking any real pizzazz. Chalk this one up to a good try. Perhaps this is one of those beers that needs a partner ... like lunch.

LOOK: Clear pale amber

SMELL: Fresh hay, sweet, biscuity, citric oil, clean

TASTE: Smooth, dry grain, hop oil, clean, crackers, citrus, spice

12 oz. bottle poured into a mug.

"Nova Scotia Style" Lager, brewed in St. Louis, MO?

Appearance: Pours a clear golden straw color, a bit darker than I expected. Big foamy white head with decent retention (for a couple minutes) and some lacing.

Smell: Caramel and grasses. Not bad, but not particularly "fresh" smelling like I'd hoped. The more I smell, the more a corn aroma comes out.

Taste: Malty flavor with a bit of grains and caramel. Not too much corn, but there's definitely a bit. The sweetness creeps in after a while.

Mouthfeel: Light- to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Generally smooth.

Drinkability: Decent, but not much there.

This is much more boring than it is bad. It is a bit too sweet as well.
