Beer pours a nice foggy light copper color with nice head. Smell is very nice. Floral much more than piney. Malt is very evident on the nose. Very soapy, definitely the dominant smell. Soap evident in the taste as well, as well as floral. There is the Earl Gray breakfast tea flavor i get from red ales. Quite bitter going done and leaves a blanket of bitterness on the palate that lingers. Mouthfeel is a touch week as for me, the body is a touch light and watery. Pretty darn good stuff, though not in the upper echelon of other IPAs I have had.
