A: A dark brown color that has a nice fluffy tan head at the top, leaves a slight bit of lacing around the glass as you drink this one.

S: Up front is chocolate and oatmeal, slight booze notes as well, nice hints of brown sugar and nicely roasted malts.

T: Taste right off the bat is chocolate and caramel, some slight hint of dark fruits, at the tail end is some nice roasty malts and some caramel and brown sugar.

M: Smooth brew, medium-heavy bodied, slight bit of carbonation as well.

O: A good brew, nice for the winter months, very tasty and pleasant.

Pitch black with a big brown head. Oatmeal on the nose, chocolate, big roastiness, toffee, coffee, fresh baked hearty grain bread. Touch of smoke.

Medium bodied with a full mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. This beer is almost steak like in flavor with a distinct savoriness in the form of umami. Semi smoky and rich, mouth watering. These savory flavors offset by chocolate, hearty warm bread, and an oatmeal sweetness. All of this is complimented by earthy hops and a prevalent coffee flavor. Good for morning or with a hearty meal.

very hearty with flavor and bitterness that needs respect. Highly recommend for splitting or accompanied by food.

T- slightly bitter coffee, roasted dark malts, chocolate, dark fruits.

M- medium body and carbonation. Very smooth and creamy.

O- nice oatmeal stout. Good amount of roast and chocolate along with very smooth finish.

A: Pours a quite dark brown with a good sized fluffy medium brown head. Fades at a moderate pace, decent retention. Quite decent fluffy patchwork of lacing too.

S: Oatmeal, quite a bit of it. More than you normally get in an oatmeal stout. Almost grainy as a result. Very mild chocolate and char.

T: Chocolate and a little char up front. Lots of oatmeal in the middle lending a smooth and creamy aspect. Also makes it quite sweet, turning the chocolate into a creamy and sweet milk chocolate flavor. Almost like chocolate syrup. A little dry on the back end as the sweetness runs out and the oatmeal turns a bit grainy. Some mild piney bitterness in the finish, giving it a dry lingering aftertaste.

M: Medium bodied, smooth and creamy. A bit grainy at points.

O: Excellent oatmeal stout. Extra oatmeal really brings that flavor to the forefront. Some hop bitterness adds some nice complexity. Overall I really enjoyed it. I just didn't give it amazing scores due to the relative simplicity of the brew. For an oatmeal stout it is one of the best.

A-Deep dark brown, nearly black. Latte foam head.

S- Smells of dark chocolate and toasty malts.

T- Bitter dark-roast coffee and toast over hot oatmeal. Just enough unfermented sugar to offset the bitterness, which doesn't taste like much hop bitterness. The faint hops are more grassy and citrusy. Finishes kind of creamy

M- Not overly thick like some heavy stouts. Just right.

O- This is a solid beer. This category is great for dessert or fireside chats in my opinion, not for refreshment of course. Or maybe with breakfast before a long snowshoe?

Bomber to Lawson's sniffer

A: pours dark brown with a thin mocha head completely opaque

S: starts off with off with strong smells of dark chocolate with rich creamy roasted coffee you can smell the toasted malts and oats as well no alcohol

T: there is some roasted coffee in there it is smooth and creamy like the nose with a hint of sweetness from maybe milk chocolate. A roasted taste of oats lasts throughout the finish. However, there is also a weird taste if some far fruit that doesn't quite match the flavor profile but it a subtitle flavor that I may be mistaking for alcohol but it does throw off the taste for me.

M: the feel is thick and chewy toffee like but not to a extreme extent there is some light carbonation to balance out the feel on top of that it is quite drinkable

O: I'm really impressed with beer I wasn't expecting this much from a low alcohol content for an imperial oatmeal stout. There is a delicious smells, near perfect taste, good looks, and a solid well balanced mouthfeel. A really good beer I would definitely try again.
