I have only recently begun to enjoy IPA style brews. I've always been a stout and porter fiend. Today I couldn't resist picking up this beer because it sounded really interesting. I haven't tried any beers that are brewed with flowers in them before! :)
Sorry but I don't pour 22's into glasses... I drink them straight...
I crack this thing open and smell... and it smells fantastic.
First sip i just about fell over in my chair... this is an IPA?!? NO WAY!
Second sip... OH my... OH my... this is wonderful...
If this is an IPA then why don't more IPA's taste this fantastic? The reason I've disliked IPA's in the past is the incredible bitter bite they always tend to have and that is not a characteristic I enjoy in my beers. If i wanted a bitter bite I'd eat a lemon.
So I take a couple real slugs off the bottle... THIS IS NOT AN IPA I SWEAR IT! If you hate IPA's this is a wonderful beer. If you like beer, this is a wonderful beer!
This thing tastes like a sweet summer breeze, smells like fresh washed laundry, and makes me want to go back to the store to buy two more!
As an IPA this thing rates as a light IPA considering its 5.6% status, and it's taste is very light and palatable. I really recommend this beer to anyone who dislikes IPA's. It might help convert you. I'm becoming a convert as we speak.
And now down to the store I go to buy a couple more of these great tasting beers!

Amber orange color with a thick head with medium retention and floating particles.
Nice predominant and stable aroma of jasmine and papaya.
Flavor of jasmine tea, orange citrusy, clear malt sweetness, papaya, pineapple and spices. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a lingering floral note.
Medium body with good carbonation.
Interesting brew, flavor starts heavily on respective floral note and moves towards citrusy.
